About Our Dance Class Levels
Here at McCann’s we have a unique way of labeling our class levels. Since we have varying numbers of levels for our different style classes, our most advanced dancers are level 1. The higher the level number, the more beginner the class is. Below is our general outline for ballet placement which can also be applied to our other styles. For styles such as modern and hip hop that have fewer levels, our beginners are level 4. Since there are fewer levels of these styles, students may stay in the same class for 2 or more years. If you have any questions about placement, please email us at email@example.com.
Please note: Our teachers may request that a student be moved to a more appropriate level during the first few weeks of classes.
